Note: Throughout this document the term “you” refers to the customer and “we” or “our” refers to Valcato Hosting.
Valcato Hosting is a trading style of Valcato Ltd, registered in England, company number 06711132.
Disclosure of Information
We have a very small privacy policy document, and that’s because we have only one policy; we don’t give or sell your information to anyone!
We will, however, co-operate fully with law enforcement and civil authorities should they contact us requesting your information. Valcato Hosting shall only disclose information that has been explicitly requested and only when we are satisfied that the contact is genuine.
Data
Your data privacy is important to us, however we reserve to the right to view any data stored on our servers in the event of a suspected breach of our Terms and Conditions of Use.
Cookies
Cookies are used by your browser to store session data, we use them to keep you logged into various areas of our website such as the Control Panels and Community Forums.
Our cookies do not cause any harm to your system, however if you do not wish to accept cookies please refer to your browser’s documentation.
Collection and Storage of Information
In order for Valcato Hosting to provide our service we collect and store information about you via our order form. This information is stored by us in a secure online database. This information is communicated to and from our server by means of a 256bit secure connection (SSL) provided by GeoTrust which ensures that your personal details cannot be obtained by anyone but the intended recipient.
We do not store any credit card details on our servers, neither do we see customer’s full number - all credit and debit card transactions are processed by WorldPay, part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Visa and MasterCard approved provider who use bank-approved software and the highest level of encryption to ensure that your credit card details are kept secure at all times.
Data Protection
In accordance with the Data Protection Act you are able to view and update the information we store about you via the Account Control Panel. You are obliged to keep this information up-to-date as well as any WHOIS (domain name) records.
In addition to this, once you have cancelled your account all information is removed from our servers. It may, however, remain in the possession of Valcato Hosting in the form of data backups or bank records.
